Hey there! I’m Daan.
I am a freelance data scientist and privacy engineer working on projects that make a positive impact on society.
In the past I have worked on systems based on machine learning to detect the risk of cancer development. In addition, I develop technologies that allow for safer data access and sharing, without having to compromise on privacy.
Finally, I also co-founded the collective Dev For Good, a group of developers that aim to use their complementary technical backgrounds to work on projects that drive positive change.
Based in Maastricht but enjoy traveling and working from different places. In my spare time I play bass and guitar.
